So what that he is often panned? Let’s think it is done out of respect:

“Dead Ringers” [BBC] does a whole Osbournes thing
Michael McDonald does Ozzy on “Mad TV”
And in a most bizarre of formats, Ozzy and family are parodied in The Ozzporns
One Ozzie news article response comments board features a fan (at least I think he’s a fan) jokingly, lovingly describing the Prince of Fu—ing Darkness’ coherence:

Yeeup. We get it. Drugs and head-banging can do some damage.
Fans and followers also imitate the shock rocker (on such shows as “The Next Best Thing”), pay homage in various ways (one Texas fan has built a family tomb which can include Ozzy—if he should choose), and speak to his legendary talents and tantrums on hundreds of tribute sites.
But even better than the satires and the impersonations and all are the small but significant details and truths that make up Ozzy Osbourne (including how it is NOT drug history but a genetic disease that makes Ozzy’s speech so mushy).
