Jordan Rudess - Rod Morgenstein - another wow!

Looks like this concert performance video of Jordan Rudess & Rod Morgenstein was from a NAMM show. I did not catch this one.

Jordan is showing off some Roland synth and Rod Morgenstein is drumming away!

Rod Morgenstein is definitely one of my favorite drummers. His work with the Dixie Dregs was among the best drumming ever on tape. He also performed with Winger. I never caught them live.

I have seen Rod numerous times live - with the Dregs and Steve Morse and also at NAMM shows jamming with the star. Enjoy the clip. It’s cool prog rock.

I just found a monster! Dixie Dregs Live performing “Take it Off  the Top”. Boy that brings back memories! I saw these guys quite a few times! In Northern California - at the NAMM Show. Oddly enough a friend of mine who played bass in Mikboffer was taking lessons from Andy West (his name Tim Fowler).

Andy West and Steve Morse along with drummer God Rod Morgenstein and keyboardist T Lavitz were the original Dixie Dregs.
