Bret Michaels Still Rocks
Bret Michaels Still Rocks by Roxanne McDonald

And now he will do so on TV, with a new rocker dating show wherein he searches for a partner who can keep up, put up, and, well, shut up? |
Shut up about the rocker lifestyle, that is. Evidently, Bret Michaels (front man for Poison) has relationship problems when it comes to having a love accept the amount of time he spends on and with his first love: rock.
So the songwriter and singer with multi-platinum success that continues to this day has engaged in a search—an on-the-air, reality televised search—to find a mate who will be able to hang as a backstage VIP.
I already wrote about the upcoming “Rock of Love” to show on Vh1 starting on July 15, so here I offer the profile/bio that the contending rock lovers (Bret lovers) will be experiencing—along with jet-setting, tour bus partying, and rubbing elbows with Bret’s fellow celebs (according to StarPulse and Vh1 press releases).
Bret Michaels (according to Vh1, IMDB, Chinese Astrology.com, and Astrology-online.com)
Born Michael Sychak, March 15, 1963, in Harrisburgh, Pennsylvania.
Pisces—typically sensitive, imaginative, kind, also tendency toward escapism, idealism, and gullibility (being easily led)
Most compatible with Pisces: Cancer, Scorpio, other Pisces (the water signs, naturally)
Rabbit—typically shy, attractive (no doubts, there), and popular, compassionate, protective, and again, idealistic (especially where relationships are concerned)—giving too much of himself.
Most compatible with rabbits: sheep and pigs
Dating/Marriage History
Has dated and/or been involved with Pamela Anderson, Susie Hatton, Kristi Lynn Gibson (with whom he has two daughters)
Children
Daughter, Raine Elizabeth, born May 20, 2000
Daughter, Jorja Bleu, born May 5, 2005
Personal Data
Is an insulin-dependent diabetic.
Is a long-time Pittsburgh Steelers fan (reflected in his owning a guitar personalized with the Steeler logo and in his being a member of the fan club, Lambert’s Lunatics).
Endured a near-fatal car crash in 1994.
Has sold 25 million records, delivered 15 chart-toppers, has had his/Poison’s music featured in several top box office hits, and continues with the band to be one of the industry’s “top grossing concert attractions”.
Not only writes and performs, but has also produced, directed, and acted.
Remember, Michaels’ lover hopefuls, he is a Pisces: and they are not only multi-talented but multi-tasking entertainment or other individuals with their hands, feet, and heads in many endeavors.
The question remains, can she keep up, put up, and shut up?

Bret Michaels is not only a great singer/songwriter with both Poison and his solo band, but he is a survivor with his diabetes. I just read a great article he did with Diabetes Health magazine. He was awesome. Gave all of us suffering with that disease hope. (it’s at www.diabeteshealth.com)
Thanks for all the info. I am going to check out your site all the time now.
Bret’s hot too, by the way!!

Bret is a very misunderstood soul at times. Even though he can come across as a very “Know what I want” type of guy, he really comes through with his “True self” in his writings. IF you really take the time, energy and compassion, to REALLY listen. He reads like an open book. With this knowledge, I’ve learned over the years who I truly believe Bret Michaels to be. I feel I have established a relationship with him and can relate to most of his struggles, acomplishments and lonliness. Even though he is never alone, technically! I’m so happy for him that he has his two daughters. There is no doubt in my mind that his music comes first; but in regards to those two sweeties, come on, THEY are number 1 with him.
I love you Bret,
Sherrie

HE IS NOT ONLY BEAUTIFUL OUTSIDE BUT ALSO INSIDE. HE IS THE ELVIS OF THE 80′S 90′S AND OF TODAY. LIFE WOULD NOT BE THE SAME WITHOUT BRET MICHAELS AND POISON. THEY ARE TRUE LEADERS WHEN IT COMES TO MUSIC AND STYLE.
XOXO

I can only hope Bret finds someone like you awesome women to Rock his Love.
Great, respectful and loving comments–[almost] all of which I agree with! I still have my own hard rock Elvis equivalents.
Gee, can ya guess by the few articles written thus far?
Respect.

I think Bret has really grown up through his life experiences. I watch him an stage (I am ALWAYS in the first one or two rows), and he is so polite to the crew bringing him water, his guitar etc. He says thank you, thank you man. No one else does that. I really admire and listen often his song “Raine”, “Something to Believe in” and “All I Ever Needed”. Those show the real down to earth man, with real feelings, not just rock star entertainer. That is who I am looking for. Too bad we will probably never meet, even though I’m at all his concerts in Columbus, and at Alrosa Villa, and Whiskey Disks each year. I also was impressed with his comments I think Bret has really grown up through his life experiences. I also was impressed with his comments on his album, Poison’d. He was the only one that gave thanks to God! That is my kind of man. He loves doing the same stuff I do to…….horse back riding, bike riding, quad riding. I like swimming in my pool, haven’t heard if he likes that or not……..
Anyway, I think he is just a real decent genuine man. I’d love to meet and talk with him without a crowd around. Swap our life experiences.

I have personally known ‘Bret’ since 1988. I loved being backstage at Greatwoods in MA, catching Poison’s shows, and peering out at the massive crowds. I know that this may ’smart’ for some…but, the “Rock of Love” show is a publicity stunt. ‘Bret’ lives here in Scottsdale, with a quiet life..still with his partner Kristi Gibson, and his 2 daughters.
Don’t believe everything that is on the media folks.

I wondered if it was for publicity cause majority of thoses women are way to ditsy for a man like him. I was really starting to feel sorry for him last night. I wanted him and Kristi to make it for the long haul since they have the girls, even though I have been in “love” with him since the first time I ever saw him. YUMMY!!!

Dude, I think you are awesome, but have to say the show is pretty lacking! What is up with the bandana wearing or hat on your head constantly??? Don’t get it unlesss you wear plugs…I must say if that’s the case you might as well shave it all off. My husband is the same age as you, I’ve been with him 12 years and he shaves his head bald as a cue ball and looks great! Knowingly, you have the rock and roll image to uphold, the real deal is better than seeing you with the accessories!
Take care!

Well I would never have a reality show looking for love? I like it to happen a bit more natural. I watch it and I enjoy watching it because I think Bret is the cutest guy in rock - I like him alot - his music is deep and he seems to be a very nice person. I’ve always thought that but I can’t imagine him still being married and going on this show kissing all those women and still be married that is unloyal and I can’t imagine his wife (if he still had one)excepting that. So I sure hope this is not a publicity thing? I don’t care for Lacy or Heather they are not someone I’d ever care to be around. They are certainly not someone you could ever trust in life.
